I am not aware of any other specification in that area. And this one is used 
by two of the three "big ones" (KDE and Unity).
I should probably have written "the cross-desktop specification" since there 
is no other, but I wasn't sure about that fact. So I settled for "main" :)

Yes, that's the one I was thinking about.

I had thought that it also dealt with progress, but seems I was mistaken.
Seems I was actually thinking about the job tracker system, but that doesn't 
seem to have been proposed as a specification yet.
