I have posted a 8x slow motion video to youtube:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpmgnJ8W5PM

Make sure you watch it FULL Screen, not in a little video window.

You can see the finger make the final touch on the Nexus 7 2012 Kitkat
4.4.2 tablet pushing the chapter-1-basics QtDeclarative example app icon
built with Qt 5.3.0.

Notice the black screen with the Android Icon appear
a fraction of a second before the white OpenGL surface of QT.

The Green Android icon shoots from the touch point to the upper left
corner of the screen along with a black background screen.

Then the OpenGL surface loads and it appears white.

Anybody have an idea on how to suppress or control that?

What we are looking for is a smooth transition to the chapter-1-basics
OpenGL surface without any Android Icons or black screens appearing

(Controlled by Manifest XML?)

Some sort of splash screen feature that is default?

Cheers,

marco
