[Automotive] Getting started with automotive and qt

If anyone can help me fix this problem, it would be much appreciated. I am
willing to try, if you can point me to the right direction. Do I need to
install C++11 on my development machine? Do I need to modify some
configuration files in qtivi?

I am using 64bit ubuntu 16.04. qmake --version gives:

$ qmake --version
QMake version 3.0
Using Qt version 5.7.0 in /usr/local/Qt-5.7.0/lib

please let me know what else I could try to get this demo working. Also,
once I go through this I would like to write or update a getting started
documentation so that other developers like myself do not have to kill so
much time just to get started. Let me know also where a good place for that
would be.

Thank you!
Aras
