[Automotive] QmlLive: Release management

Hi Jürgen,

I am happy with any solution provided it gives me a GIT tag to base my packaging on :)

But, IIUC, having mix of 1.x tags and 5.x branches looks a bit odd at first glance.

Martin

Hi,

Would it be possible to tag QmlLive now?

What would be the version number? Is QmlLive release cycle meant to be bound to Qt release cycle (as the '5.7' branch name says) or independent (in qmllive.pri we have VERSION=0.1.0 now)?

QmlLive is release with QtAutomotive Suite which is tested with a particular Qt release (hence 5.7). We need to switch to 5.8 branch now (as we target QtAuto 1.1). At least this is my understanding
