This is exactly the discussion I want to have! 

Might be a bit lengthy (and slow) for the mailing list. Especially since it's 
not Qt 5.0.0 timeframe and that's what most people are focusing on. So I 
started a topic in the devnet forum: http://qt-
project.org/forums/viewthread/16341/ . I pre-populated it with plenty of words 
:) .
