Nice report.

Most are expected changes. The one in QChar is a silent breakage, but 
documented in the changelog (in fact, it's the first one now):

* drop a bogus QChar::NoCategory enum value; the proper 
QChar::Other_NotAssigned
  value is returned for an unassigned codepoints now.

I've now came around and built the apps for Qt 5.  It was *very* 
painless.  The changes required were trivial.  This single commit made 
the app Qt5-ready:
