RIM is using Qt open source (LGPL).

To be really honest, generally I wouldn't think so, as Qt is LGPL. Of course,
if Nokia pulls the plug, we are likely to have lesser contributions happening
to Qt, which I believe will certainly impact the project - but imho not to the
point of killing it.
