Hello,

>From Symbian development, I see no problem in moving into such mode that people can easier contribute stuff - such as Gerrit. Now the question is who starts driving this migration. Can the maintainers of Qt Quick Components answer this?

The recent event of Digia purchasing the whole Qt business probably may have some effect on this case. I don't know anything more specific, though.

Hi,

I am also interested in this topic. We have been trying to make the qtquick2 branch of the qt-components work as nicely as possible on Harmattan. We would need to make certain changes to the meego components. Using the new plugin system where, that is not. Another change is I am aware of, is the adaptation to the new application event filter API.

There might be other issues we have not yet revealed. How can we contribute our changes back to upstream as soon as possible?

Hello,

OK, I see your pain. One solution could be a new team clone / personal clone as a temporary storage. But the best advice I can give you is that you should contact qt-components admins if they have solution for you. https://gitorious.org/+qt-components-developers/.

Jaska
