This is the configure script of the Qt 5 "mother repo".
Change https://codereview.qt-project.org/27136 was a fix for syncqt. 
That means you can build Qt 5 with msys perl if you do it manually / using your own script like I do.

Looks like the configure script has the same problem(s) as syncqt had.
