Some of the ones I've seen:

- Changes to qt5.git/qt.pro
- Adding new dependencies (need to install additional packages)
- Changes in configure flags
- Compilation errors not caught by CI and showing up while packaging
- Changes that break other modules (this is only caught while trying to 
integrate qt5.git)

among others
