Could you please point me to a log that shows that this test is flaky in 
Qt 4.8? I can then look into this issue.

I've introduced (and fixed) tst_qlocalsocket flakiness in Qt5 but 
nothing changed in Qt4 which is why I'm surprised that the flakiness in 
Qt5 was contagious. ;-)
