Amusing... that your example of "finally capture the full Qt Desktop
experience" relies on a PinchArea to control the cannon force:P .
Fortunately it's not QtQuick that's deficient here, I've attached a
fixed version which is more designed for desktop (keyboard controls as
well as all-touch, also uses GPU more).

Despite all the bonus features it's still less than half the LoC of
the old cannon tutorial :) .
