This is off-topic for this mailing list: You'd have better asked at qt-creator@, or filed a bug report at bugreports.qt-project.org.

Anyway, please check if you still have the issue with Qt Creator 2.7.0. For me 'MouseArea { onWheel: {} }'  is properly highlighted.
