There seems have a bug, see the source:

    For example, here's the definition of an interface class:

   * \snippet tools/plugandpaint/interfaces.h 2*

    Here's the definition of a plugin class that implements that
    interface:

   * \snippet tools/plugandpaintplugins/extrafilters/extrafiltersplugin.h 0*


*The bug: *the code snippet show nothing.
