Hi there,
I hosted a session about CMake+Qt in Bilbao last week to gather feedback from
those using it, gather feature requests and outline future plans:
http://qt-project.org/groups/qt-contributors-summit-2013/wiki/CMake-files-feedback-requests
The situation is generally very good for third parties, with new CMake
features in new releases making things easier to use. Future work will focus
on the developer story. I'll be working on improving the Creator integration
in general aiming for feature parity with the capabilities of Creator with
other buildsystems (qmake, qbs). My intention that migration to cmake makes
more sense for third parties than to qbs when the 'time to migrate away from
qmake' message comes down.
Additionally, I'll be working on a cpack generator for BB10, and a volunteer
(Kare Sars, I think) said he'd work on a generator for android packages.
Exposing CPack features through creator is also a goal.
Thanks,
