[Development] Upcoming Gerrit Upgrade

Hi,

Please be careful! We were using 2.6 and suffered from this bug in 
gerrit relating to the cherry-pick submission strategy:

It also seems to affect the 2.7 series as well as indicated from 
comments in that bug report. 2.8 seems to not suffer from it.

Just thought it's worth giving you a head's up about this :)
