Subject: [Development] Missing builds on the CI server?

Following is an overview of the officially supported platforms for Qt (see http://qt.digia.com/Product/Qt-Core-Features-Functions/Supported-Platforms/).
I also added an indication whether the platform is currently built on the CI infrastructure (see http://testresults.qt-project.org/ci/Qt5_release_Integration/build_00295/).

Primary supported platforms for Qt5.x Built on CI?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows 7 32-bit with VS 2010 Y
Windows 7 32-bit with MinGW 4.7 Y
Windows 7 64-bit with VS 2010 N
Windows 7 64-bit with VS 2012 N
Windows 8 64-bit with VS 2012 Y
Ubuntu 11.04 32-bit with gcc 4.4.3 N
Ubuntu 11.10 32/64-bit with gcc 4.6.1 Y (no clue about the gcc version)
Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit with gcc 4.6.3 Y (no clue about the gcc version)
OS X 10.6 32/64-bit with Apple gcc compiler Y
OS X 10.7 32/64-bit with Apple clang compiler Y
OS X 10.8 64-bit with Apple clang compiler Y
Windows Embedded Compact 7 (ARM & x86) with VS 2008 N (but there is a WindowsCE build)
Windows Embedded Standard 7 (x86) with VS 2008 N (but there is a WindowsCE build)

Secondary supported platforms for Qt5.x:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows XP 32/64-bit with VS 2010 N
Windows XP 32/64-bit with VS 2012 N
Windows XP 32/64-bit with MinGW 4.7 N
Windows Vista 32/64-bit with VS 2010 N
Windows Vista 32/64-bit with VS 2012 N
Windows Vista 32/64-bit with MinGW 4.7 N
Windows 7 32-bit with VS 2012 N
Windows 7 64-bit with VS 2012 N
Windows 8 32-bit with VS 2010 N
Windows 8 32-bit with VS 2012 N
Windows 8 32-bit with MinGW 4.7 N
Windows 8 64-bit with VS 2010 N
Windows 8 64-bit with MinGW 4.7 N
Embedded Linux (x86, MIPS, PowerPC) with
                    arm-none-linux-gnueabi-gcc 4.4.1 Y (ARM only)
QNX with vendor supplied gcc N
iOS with Apple Compiler Y
Android with gcc Y

As can be seen, there is no build for Windows 7 64-bit, no build for Ubuntu 11.04 and no builds for Windows Embedded 7.
I was wondering if this is something that should be added to the CI, or if it has been left out on purpose?

Left out by purpose. We just can't add all possible combinations of different platforms/compilers/Qt configurations into CI. The selected set is described in here: http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5/supported-platforms.html

Simo

Also, for the secondary platforms, only iOS, Android and Embedded Linux on ARM are built; all other platforms are not built.

Cheers,

Kurt
