+1, same here (Fedora).

Those 2 would better be replaced altogether than just unbundled… (V8 because 
it is not portable, FFmpeg because it is monolithic and so we cannot ship it 
in a way where the patent-encumbered codecs can be added from a third-party 
repository, the codecs to include are a compile-time decision.)
