It shouldn't be. Qt versions are supposed to be binary compatible with each 
other from the point of view of the application.

Mixing different Qt versions in the same process is not supported. I must point 
out that none of the backtraces in either link show this.

>From what I can tell quickly examining both links, the root cause is not yet 
determined.
