Hi,
Ok :) let's try with reduced qmake syntax (just variables, no functions). We can still fall back to json if it's too clumsy.
I certainly prefer qmake syntax from an editing POV because I don't need to quote everything like crazy :)

Didn't know that, but qmake .pri file is even simpler.
