Heh, hard to see all implications of changes to a complex system one doesn't yet know intimately ...

But: the qtsvg/qmake experiment described in my previous mail was done with Qt 5.4.1 . Are you sure "it" was removed in Qt 5.4.0 (and not 5.5.0) and that it somehow didn't reappear in 5.4.1?
