Grantlee has an example which is exactly that, but it uses QtWebKit and 
QNetworkAccessManager:

Unfortunately I used a video host which no longer exists.

Perhaps there is similar request-interception API in the new WebView stuff 
which you could use. I haven't looked into the new web API yet.
