I'm sorry to see you step down, Alan. Thanks for all the good work!

I would like to suggest Robin Burchell for the role of future Qt Quick maintainer.

He is a long time Qt contributor and has repeatedly shown insight and dedication to the project. From various work he has solid experience building complex software stacks in Qt and on top of Qt Quick.

He has a good overview over the Qt Quick stack and how it comes together, including the V4 engine, the UI elements, event handling and rendering. He also cares greatly about the overall performance and has been responsible for removing overhead and improving performance in every major Qt release for the last couple of years. Something Qt Quick very much needs.

He also keeps a keen eye on the bugtracker and codereview in the Qt Quick area.

cheers,
Gunnar
