I don't want to raise more workload, however, I would like to have

merged into 5.6.1 and 5.7.0 if at all possible. Without the patch, no BSD 
system is actually able to execute any Qt binaries (platform plugins fail to 
load) and the build doesn't produce compile errors so the cause is not easily 
detectable. That's the only patch really badly needed from our side.

Sorry for being late with this, I tried to get things moving ahead of 
branching but got delayed.
