Let me just be clear: this was not a vote. It was a straw poll, to gather the 
attendees' opinion.

The Qt Project has no voting. All decisions are made by consensus wherever 
possible, and failing to achieve that, we have an escalation route all the way 
to the Chief Maintainer. Please note point 3 of RFC 7282[1], which describes 
IETF's Consensus mechanism:

	Rough consensus is achieved when all issues are addressed, but not 
	necessarily accommodated
