The commit in dev did actually run headerscheck on the commit, see the log in https://testresults.qt.io/coin/api/results/qt/qtbase/ed4664dfc3b08939ec451a1de608568314025380/LinuxRHEL_7_6x86_64LinuxRHEL_7_6x86_64GCCqtci-linux-RHEL-7.6-x86_64-34a8a7UseLegacyInstructions/1f08413e0479bcc3881893430e643bea52af79e8/build_1598371237/log.txt.gz .

Both command lines contain -Werror=float-equal -Werror. Different operating systems / compilers (and different other options) are used though. The Linux configuration with -headerscheck in dev is currently run on RHEL_7_6, while in 5.12 (where the error is , not 5.15) it's openSUSE 42.3.
