[Development] Feature freeze exception for QTBUG-117597

Hi.
We would like to ask for a feature freeze exception for  https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-117597, specifically the API change needed  https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt/qtbase/+/524738 in order to opt-out of the new behavior.

Since this is a change in how a UI is laid out, the application will still work – but the user of the application might experience that some of the UI elements are laid out differently (e.g. buttons and text fields might become horizontally wider)
We would like to have it integrated for 6.7 which should hopefully give us more valuable feedback to know if the behavior is too disruptive, in which case the feature will be rather changed to a more conservative opt-in feature in the next LTS (6.8).
