Now that 2026 has been released, we must give some non-urgent thought to when 
2022 will stop getting supported.

I would start with this simple rule: it will be supported for the next two LTS 
releases, then dropped immediately after. The next LTS is 6.11 (Q1'2026), the 
one after will be 6.14 (Q2'2027).

The only version of VS2022 supported is 17.14 (current, latest) with toolchain 
14.44 (current, latest).
