Nobody seems to object to the removal of the native painting feature, which this thread was all about.So, go ahead.

If anyone really can’t live without this, then stick to the last version of Qt where it still is available, while making yourself familiar enough with the code to bring it back in a meaningful and take over maintenance for it.
