It has been the intention to upstream all the changes made to our version
of Gerrit. However, given that Nokia is not able to accept the
contribution terms set forth by Google, we are unable to directly
contribute them back to the upstream project. We asked the subcontractors
to work with the Gerrit community as much as possible to upstream the
patches on our behalf, but there's only so much they can do within the
boundaries of the contracts; so I'm afraid that effort is now depleted.

Or only remaining option is to simply publish the changes in a repository
of our own, and place them under BSD or PD; and hope someone who accept
the Gerrit contribution terms will try to upstream the respective patches.

I'm not sure why our Gerrit repository is not public already, but I'll try
to accelerate that.
