[GEG] Gerrit fail to be open

Hi guys,

I hope you're aware of the problem with Gerrit that it formalizes the
open process for an open project up to a absurd degree when you have
to ask person to went through a registration process to ask him to
take a look at some code you're proposing.

A message from 17/Nov/11 3:15 PM say that there is a problem with the
integration between Gerrit and JIRA authentication, and that people
keep investigating this. However, no updates since then.

Can anybody describe the problem in more detail and the technical way
to solve it?
