[Interest] QMdiArea: rendering problem after closing all MDI subwindows

I'm developing an application which uses QMdiArea, and I've noticed 
that, when QMdiArea::closeAllSubWindows() is called, every MDI subwindow 
is effectively closed but the widget keeps on rendering what appears to 
be the frames of every MDI window over the widget's background.

Has anyone experienced this?  And is there a way to stop rendering these 
frames?
