And because the people working on the Qt Project did not want to maintain it 
anymore.

No platform removed from Qt has ever come back.

Besides, what's the motivation? The 150 million Symbian devices that were 
promised from 2011 to 2015 will not happen. Symbian market share is now at 5 
million per quarter and falling.
