In case you are referring to OS X 10.8: you can simply edit that Qt header file where the warning comes from (qtglobal.h?) and "add that version to the supported ones" (it's straight forward to do so, just look at the existing #ifdef cascade).

AFAICT Qt 4.8.2 behaves on Mountain Lion exactly as on Lion.
