I didn't say after release. I said "after the code starts to stabilise". One 
assumes that it isn't released until it is stable, which means stabilisation 
comes before the release.

The thing is: the Lighthouse of Qt 4.8 is but a small preview of what it is in 
Qt 5. No point in documenting the limited API there if it changes considerably 
for 5. So, in essence, the Qt 4.8 API is a preview, not a stable release.
