[Interest] Qt 4.8.0 Main form always opening in the same location ?

Thanks Andreas.  I forgot to say that the app was not explicitly setting the
location of the main window.  

I have found a Windows 7 free app (AutoSize) that allows me to specify a
location just for the app window and it works well so far.
