It's not a simple syntax:

Option 1: use the Qt 4 syntax. It's still valid.
Option 2:
void (QSpinBox:: *signal)(int) = &QSpinBox::valueChanged;
QObject::connect(spinBox, signal, slider, &QSlider::setValue);
