[Interest] Windows application's main window does not have standard Windows' main-window's features

Sorry if my question was not clear:  What needs to be un-done to get 
back the default behavior?  (Although I have access to the source code, 
I did not write the application -- so I do not know what was done to get 
rid of the default behavior.)
