A small note. I don't know where the code originates from, but the up
to date version of that drag and drop QML plugin seems to be in the
kde-runtime [1] repository and seems mostly developed by Marco Martin.

I would very much like "out of the box" dragndrop support in QML. Its
"somewhat" possible now with a lot of hassle.
