[Interest] Qt Quick on desktop applications

My application has some rather complicated graphical aspects such as displaying large data sets as a plotted graph.
Would this be possible in qml?

I guess with Quick Controls and layout elements it might be "easy".

My approach would be to rethink the UI considering new possibilities offered by QML, which is much more flexible when it comes to UI design.

Hi Graham,
IMHO,  it is viable since :
- you'll get more and more touch screens
- people are getting used to touch interfaces
- Quick Controls allows you to mimick widgets
- You get GL acceleration on QML
- it is easy to create custom components.
>From my recent experience, I don't think i'll use widgets anymore.
