Because README[1] says:

I don't know what are those restrictions and if they will affect
development process or not. I have a 3.0.0 compile which segfaults in each
run (don't remember the reason but I remember that I have fixed it in
Fedora)

Right now I'm happy with QtC 2.8.1 and I don't see any reason to wait 2~3
hours to compile the QtC 3.
