[Interest] Is is possible to connect QML signals to C++ slot using new syntax?

In the documents I read about Connecting to QML Signals. Connect QML signals to C++ slot still using old syntax. Is it possible to connect QML signals to C++ slot using new syntax? The problem is QML item type is dynamic so cannot get its signals pointers.
