Yes, but this boilerplate is easy to remove when direct exposition of enum to 
Qml will be implemented.

AFAIK  yes.

I've prepared you an example and removed the singleton part - 
qmlRegisterUncreatableType is more neat.

You can download tarball [1]. This is as far as I can get in reasonable amount 
of time. It looks like almost all cases that came to my mind works except 
invoking slot with enum argument from other class (registered as uncreatable). 

I also made a simple snippet which is example[2] of not working slot. Could 
someone determine if it is a bug and needs to be submitted?
