Hm... Well, after setting that, I still get that message, so something is 
more wrong than I hoped.

I don't really know yet -- I've just begun porting the opengl code. Could 
it be because my opengl canvas widgets are inside QMdiSubwindows? It's 
really early days, I had hoped that I could just keep using my existing 
code for a while, but that failed to render completely, so now I'm trying 
to become a bit more modern...
