The ones I can remember right now could be implemented in (some) other 
platforms, so I don't know if those should land in a QtXxxExtras module, or in 
the general ones. I can think of adding an application to the list of 
applications to start on login, or adding a folder to favourites.

There are other things, but are probably too big, and it is unlikely that 
someone wants to step up to write a whole Qt wrapper. The two above are easy 
enough.
