Thanks for the reply.  We're using QWT to do the charts.  I can save a 
chart to pdf.  what I need is to make a report containing a chart among 
other things and save that as a PDF file.

I can do this with QTextDocument using html syntax but I don't see a way 
to get the chart into that. I think QTextDocument will import only a 
subset of HTML4.
