The same issue I'm observing with my custom build of Qt-5.5.0

It seems to be a bug in QtCreator.

As a work-around, you can try the old trick with
"Manage Kits" and changing device
in a Kit-specific configuration.

Xcode 7.0 has no issues allowing me to debug on my “iPhone5c”

I click on Run on John’s iPad and am offered no other choices?

Under Preferences->Devices I can see “iPhone5c”, current state green, Ready to Use.

Why can’t I select my “iPhone5c” device from here?
