[Interest] How to use icons in QtQuick-Combobox or better draw whole item in dropdown using an image

Hello,

I am trying to implement a QtQuick combobox that allows the user to select
some gradient, pretty much like shown in this picture:

So far, I did not find an example how to use icons in a combobox at all.
There is an example in the documentation of combobox that assigns colors to
the items that could be used as a start, but it does not work here. I only
get plain white items.

 

Does anybode had success using images in a combobox? There is also the
option to use a custom item as menu, but so far, I could not find an
example.
