Yes, I know that but thanks anyway :)

The question is basically if in the MacPorts build system we have any reason to try and support the straightforward universal build process. One reason is a given: in an automated build system it is preferable to let the compiler and linker figure things out as that removes the question which files from an install to lipo and which ones to skip.
