So I started everything from scratch on a clean PC this morning using
the Qt 5.8.0-alpha source just released yesterday. I ensured
thatthere's no egl.h header on this PC. I configured as follows:

configure -opensource -confirm-license -opengl dynamic -nomake
examples -nomake tests -prefix C:\Qt\5.8\msvc2015_64\bin

jom repeatedly fails with:

[276/8125] CXX obj\src\3rdparty\chromium\third_party\webrtc\common_audio\resampler\common_audio.resampler.obj
FAILED: ninja -t msvc -e environment.x64 -- cl.exe /nologo
/showIncludes /FC
@obj\src\3rdparty\chromium\base\win\base.win_util.obj.rsp /c
c:\qt\qt-everywhere-opensource-src-5.8.0-alpha\qtwebengine\src\3rdparty\chromium\base\win\win_util.cc
/Foobj\src\3rdparty\chromium\base\win\base.win_util.obj
/Fdobj\src\3rdparty\chromium\base\base.cc.pdb

Should I try with nmake?
